Sabah Basketball Club has strengthened its roster with a new signing.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the club, the Baku representative has officially transferred Mindaugas Susinskas. The Lithuanian forward has signed a two-year contract with the team.
It should be noted that throughout his professional career, Mindaugas Susinskas has played for his home country's clubs "Dzukija" and "Prienai," Germany's "Chemnitz," and most recently, the Spanish team "Girona." The 2.04-meter tall forward gained valuable experience in the FIBA Europe Cup while in Germany, where he averaged 11.3 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Subsequently, he spent three seasons competing in Spain's ACB League, widely considered one of the most competitive basketball leagues in Europe.
The acquisition of Susinskas is part of Sabah's ongoing efforts to enhance its competitiveness in both domestic and international tournaments. By bringing in a player with significant experience in top-tier European leagues, the club aims to elevate its tactical depth and performance standards for the upcoming season.
