On June 12, temperatures in Baku are expected to reach 30°C, while rain is forecasted for several regions across Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has released the latest weather outlook.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be variably cloudy with occasional overcast conditions, remaining primarily dry. However, there is a possibility of brief, light rain in some parts of the peninsula during the night. A moderate north-westerly wind will occasionally strengthen during the day.
Temperatures in the capital will range from 18-22°C at night to 26-30°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 756 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels between 70-75% at night and 45-50% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in various areas. Forecasters have warned of potential thunderstorms and hail, with precipitation likely to intensify in mountainous and foothill regions. Fog is expected in some areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by occasional strong westerly winds.
Temperatures in the regions will range from 17-21°C at night to 29-34°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be 8-13°C at night and 17-22°C during the day, reaching up to 25-28°C in some locations.
The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these fluctuations as part of its mandate to provide accurate climate data for the Republic of Azerbaijan, ensuring public safety and preparedness for changing weather patterns.
