Robert Fiko BMT-ni sərt tənqid etdi: "Gülünc vəziyyətdədir"

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has issued a sharp critique of the United Nations, describing the organization's inability to prevent global conflicts as "ridiculous."

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from "Clash Report," Fico highlighted the perceived impotence of international institutions in the face of interventions by major powers. The Prime Minister raised several provocative questions regarding the lack of accountability in global politics.

"Who will stop the Americans in Iraq? Who will stop Russia in Ukraine? Who will stop the Americans in Iran? Who will stop the Americans in Venezuela?" Fico asked, pointing to what he described as a systemic failure in maintaining international order and security.

These remarks align with a growing sentiment among various world leaders regarding the necessity of institutional reform. Recently, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva also emphasized the need for changes within the UN Security Council, arguing that the exclusive powers held by its permanent members are no longer justified in an international system based on the sovereign equality of nations. These criticisms underscore a broader debate about the relevance of the post-World War II diplomatic framework in addressing modern geopolitical crises and the evolving needs of the international community.
