According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this progress follows the recent victory of the Azerbaijani club in European competition, which has bolstered the nation's overall coefficient score.
As a result of recent performances, Azerbaijan's coefficient for the current season has reached 1.750. With a total score of 20.312, Azerbaijan currently holds the 26th position in the UEFA rankings. Israel, currently ranked 25th, holds a coefficient of 20.750, making the margin between the two nations increasingly competitive.
The UEFA coefficient rankings are a critical metric used to determine the number of clubs a national association can enter into the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. These rankings are calculated based on the performance of clubs from each association over a five-year period. England currently leads the overall UEFA rankings with a coefficient of 101.852, reflecting the sustained success of its clubs in continental tournaments.
