Qatar possesses sufficient anti-missile assets and other defensive capabilities to repel potential strikes from Iran.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that these remarks were made by Majed bin Mohammed al-Ansari, the official spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Addressing concerns regarding the country's defensive inventory, al-Ansari emphasized that interceptor stocks remain robust. "Our missile interceptor reserves have not been exhausted; we have sufficient capabilities to counter existing threats," he stated. The MFA representative further highlighted that the Qatari Armed Forces remain in a state of full combat readiness to ensure the security of the state.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions in the Middle East, where Qatar plays a strategic role as both a diplomatic mediator and a host to significant international military installations. As a key non-NATO ally of the United States, Qatar has consistently invested in advanced integrated air defense systems to safeguard its territorial integrity and critical energy infrastructure. This defensive posture is part of a broader regional security framework aimed at maintaining stability in the Persian Gulf.
