US President Donald Trump has demanded that Israel and Iran immediately cease their exchange of strikes. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the President issued this statement via his Truth Social platform.
"Israel and Iran must stop the firing immediately," President Trump wrote.
This development follows a series of military escalations in the region. On the night of June 7-8, Iran launched a missile strike against Israel, citing Israel's ongoing military operations against the radical Hezbollah organization in Lebanon as the justification. In response, the Israel Defense Forces conducted strikes against military targets located in the central and western regions of Iran.
The Middle East remains a focal point of global diplomatic efforts, with the United States playing a central role in mediating regional conflicts. President Trump's administration has consistently emphasized the need for stability in the region, often advocating for direct communication channels to prevent further military escalation between major regional powers.
