Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to visit China in May

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will pay an official visit to China from May 24 to 28 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

According to Serbian media reports cited by Operative Information Center-OMM, Vucic is scheduled to hold high-level talks with the Chinese leader and Premier of the State Council Li Qiang. During the five-day visit, the sides are expected to sign more than 30 bilateral agreements, alongside several commercial contracts with major Chinese companies.

Serbia and China share a deep strategic partnership, often described by both nations as an "ironclad friendship." Belgrade has been a key partner for Beijing's Belt and Road Initiative in Southeast Europe, attracting significant Chinese investments in infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing sectors. This upcoming visit is anticipated to further solidify economic and political ties between the two countries.
