President Ilham Aliyev discussed the primary objectives behind hosting the IV Shusha Global Media Forum during the event's opening ceremony.
According to the "Operative Information Center-OMM", the head of state emphasized the core vision for the gathering: "The idea behind holding this event was to create an environment where media representatives from various corners of the world could discuss issues of mutual interest and concern, as well as to become acquainted with Garabagh and Shusha. I am confident that the guests who have arrived here can witness the development and reconstruction of Garabagh firsthand."
The Shusha Global Media Forum has established itself as a significant international platform, bringing together media experts, journalists, and thought leaders to address contemporary challenges in the global information landscape. By hosting such events in Shusha, which was liberated from occupation in 2020, Azerbaijan aims to showcase the large-scale restoration and reconstruction efforts currently underway in the region, while fostering international dialogue on media ethics and the role of journalism in the modern era.
