Azerbaijan is working to transform not only the region but the entirety of Eurasia into a reliable space for cooperation, according to President Ilham Aliyev.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks in his address to participants of the international conference titled "Regional Contribution to Global Security: Peacebuilding in the South Caucasus," held in the cultural capital of Shusha.
The President emphasized that decisive steps taken alongside friendly and brotherly nations, particularly within the Turkic World, hold special significance for international cooperation. "We are turning our family, the Turkic World, into one of the influential geopolitical power centers of the 21st century," he stated.
The conference in Shusha serves as a platform for discussing the evolving geopolitical landscape of the South Caucasus. Since the restoration of its territorial integrity, Azerbaijan has actively promoted regional connectivity, positioning itself as a vital transit hub linking East and West through the Middle Corridor, while simultaneously strengthening its strategic alliances within the Organization of Turkic States.
