On June 22, President Ilham Aliyev held a one-on-one meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in Ashgabat.
During the high-level meeting, the leaders discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Both nations are key players in the Caspian region, actively collaborating on energy transit projects and transport corridors that connect Central Asia with European markets.
