President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Azerbaijan, Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingl, on July 17.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the ambassador presented his credentials to the head of state.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations. He emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in political, economic, trade, investment, and tourism sectors, as well as increasing contacts at various levels.
The President wished the ambassador success in his future endeavors, expressing confidence that his diplomatic mission would contribute to the strengthening of Azerbaijan-Brazil ties. Ambassador Klingl noted the high level of diplomatic relations and highlighted the successful cooperation between the two nations within the framework of COP initiatives. The sides also discussed collaboration within international organizations, underscoring both countries' commitment to multilateral diplomacy.
