Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Mohammad Mustafa visited the Alley of Honor in Baku to pay tribute to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader and architect and founder of the modern, independent Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Palestinian Prime Minister laid a wreath at the grave of the National Leader.
During his visit, Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa also honored the memory of prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, placing fresh flowers on her grave. The memory of distinguished statesman Aziz Aliyev and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev was also commemorated.
The Alley of Honor serves as a significant memorial site in Baku, where prominent Azerbaijani figures in politics, science, and culture are laid to rest. Such visits by high-ranking foreign officials are a standard protocol in diplomatic relations, symbolizing respect for the host nation's history and its founding leaders.
