The United Nations (UN) representation in Azerbaijan has extended its congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the congratulatory message was published on the diplomatic mission's official page on the "X" social network.
"Happy Eid al-Adha! The United Nations representation in Azerbaijan extends its sincerest congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. May this holiday bring abundance, prosperity, and the joy of connection to our world," the statement read.
Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant holidays in the Islamic calendar, celebrated by Muslims worldwide. In Azerbaijan, the holiday is observed with deep respect for traditions, emphasizing values of charity, community, and solidarity. The UN's participation in such cultural and religious observances highlights the organization's commitment to fostering dialogue and mutual understanding within the countries where it operates.
