German Embassy in Azerbaijan extends Eid al-Adha greetings

The Embassy of Germany in Baku has extended its congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ralf Horlemann shared a video message to mark the holiday. The Ambassador emphasized that Eid al-Adha is a special time when reflection, unity, and mutual care come to the forefront.

"On behalf of all staff at the German Embassy in Baku, I congratulate you on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. This holiday reminds us of the importance of compassion, kindness, and sharing. In these complex times, marked by conflict and violence, remaining committed to these values, building bridges between people, and maintaining understanding and mercy toward one another is more important than ever. I wish you and your families a joyous, healthy, and peaceful Eid al-Adha. Happy Eid al-Adha," the Ambassador stated.

Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant religious holidays in the Islamic calendar, celebrated annually in Azerbaijan with widespread community gatherings, charitable acts, and family visits. The holiday holds deep cultural and spiritual significance, emphasizing values of solidarity and social responsibility.
