Embassies of Sweden, Hungary, Croatia, Morocco, and Moldova have extended their official congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, these diplomatic missions shared their messages of goodwill through their official social media channels.
The Embassy of Sweden noted: "Today marks the 108th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence and the proclamation of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. We extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes to the people and government of Azerbaijan. Happy Independence Day, Azerbaijan!"
The Embassy of Hungary expressed its wishes for peace, joy, and sustainable development for the country on this festive occasion. Similarly, the Embassy of Croatia in Azerbaijan conveyed its congratulations to the Azerbaijani people.
Morocco's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Adil Embarsh, also shared a message, stating, "Happy Independence Day to the people of Azerbaijan!"
In its congratulatory statement, the Embassy of Moldova emphasized the significance of Independence Day as a symbol of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, national unity, and development. "This beautiful holiday, which symbolizes the sovereignty, national unity, and continuous development of the Azerbaijani state, provides an opportunity to reflect on the friendly relations, cooperation, and mutual respect between our countries. These ties are also proudly reflected in the Azerbaijani community in the Republic of Moldova, who contribute to the country's development. Independence Day in Azerbaijan commemorates the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918, which was the first secular parliamentary republic in the Muslim world. Since regaining independence in 1991, the country has actively fostered strong diplomatic ties with nations across the globe, strengthening its position on the international stage.
