Politico: Tramp Danimarkanı Qəzza üzrə Sülh Şurasına dəvət etməyib

US President Donald Trump has not invited Denmark to join the newly established Peace Council, a body dedicated to the administration and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. The initiative, led by the United States, aims to coordinate international efforts in the region following the cessation of hostilities.

According to a report by Politico, citing a Danish diplomat, Copenhagen has not received an official request to participate in this international initiative. The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the council's primary objectives include managing Gaza's governance within the framework of agreements between Israel and Hamas, overseeing post-war reconstruction, and providing humanitarian aid. The body is also expected to establish an international mechanism to maintain long-term stability in the region.

The initiative comes as part of a broader strategy by the Trump administration to stabilize the Middle East through direct international cooperation. Bloomberg reports that US President Donald Trump plans to officially approve the council's charter and the distribution of powers during the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 22. The World Economic Forum, held annually in Switzerland, serves as a premier global platform for political and business leaders to address pressing international issues, including regional security and economic recovery. The establishment of the Peace Council reflects a shift toward a structured, multi-national approach to the Gaza crisis, aiming to involve key stakeholders in the rebuilding of conflict-affected areas.
