Erkin Rahimov has been appointed director of the Republican Pediatric Center, marking a significant leadership change in the specialized medical institutions of Azerbaijan. According to information provided by TABIB to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Dinar Gahramanova has also been appointed as the director of the Republican Endocrinology Center.
The personnel reforms extend to other key medical facilities in the capital. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Farah Garagurbanli has been named deputy director of the Nizami Medical Center and head of the maternity home. Additionally, Rakhshanda Ahmadova, a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, has been appointed deputy director and chief physician of the Republican Dermatovenereological Center. Prior to these appointments, Erkin Rahimov served as the head of the Pediatrics Department at Baku Medical Plaza since 2014, while Dinar Gahramanova led the Polyclinic Department of the Republican Endocrinology Center since early 2024.
These appointments are part of a broader strategy by the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) to modernize the management of state healthcare facilities in Azerbaijan. TABIB, which oversees the management of medical institutions across the country, continues to focus on improving the quality of medical services and ensuring that specialized centers are led by experienced professionals to enhance the efficiency of the national healthcare system.
