Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has characterized his recent working visit to Moscow, which included high-level talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as highly successful.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from Armenpress, the discussions covered a wide range of bilateral issues, resulting in several key agreements between the two nations.

"We reached concrete agreements across a number of areas of our agenda, ranging from culture to military-technical cooperation. I consider the visit to be very successful," Pashinyan stated following the meeting. The Prime Minister had traveled to the Russian capital on April 1 for the scheduled working visit to engage in strategic dialogue with the Kremlin.

The meeting takes place amid a complex geopolitical landscape in the South Caucasus. Historically, Russia has maintained a significant military presence in Armenia and has been a primary supplier of defense equipment to the country. These new military-technical agreements signify a continuation of the long-standing security relationship between Yerevan and Moscow, even as Armenia seeks to diversify its foreign policy and security partnerships in the post-Garabagh war era.
