A new advisor has been appointed to the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Shamil Azizov has been appointed to this position by a relevant order.
It should be noted that with this appointment, the total number of advisors to the minister has reached three. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources plays a pivotal role in the country's environmental protection, sustainable management of natural resources, and the implementation of state policies regarding climate change and biodiversity conservation.
The ministry, currently led by Minister Mukhtar Babayev, continues to undergo structural optimizations aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and addressing the country's growing environmental priorities, including the restoration of ecosystems in the liberated territories of Garabagh and East Zangezur.
