Traffic congestion reported in 13 directions in Baku

Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads and avenues in Baku. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has released data regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.

The following locations are currently experiencing significant traffic density:

  • 1. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, towards the city center;
  • 2. Baku-Sumgait highway, towards the "20 January" metro station;
  • 3. Tbilisi Avenue, from the intersection with Izmir Street towards the "20 January" metro station;
  • 4. Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station towards the city center;
  • 5. 1st Gol Kenari road, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
  • 6. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street towards the "20 January" metro station;
  • 7. Binagadi highway, towards the "Azadlig Avenue" metro station;
  • 8. Yusif Safarov Street, towards the city center;
  • 9. Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue;
  • 10. 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street;
  • 11. Niyazi Street, towards the "Azneft" circle;
  • 12. Ali Mustafayev Street, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
  • 13. 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center.

The Intelligent Transport Management Center in Baku continuously monitors traffic flow to ensure the safety and efficiency of urban mobility.
