Moldova has strongly condemned the strikes carried out by Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against the territory of Azerbaijan.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, this statement was made by Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi during a joint press conference in Baku with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The diplomat stated that official Chisinau particularly condemns the attacks on civilian infrastructure in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the resulting damage to the peaceful population. The minister emphasized that Moldova expresses full solidarity with the Azerbaijani people and reaffirms its unwavering support for the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The meeting in the capital highlights the growing diplomatic ties between Baku and Chisinau, as both nations navigate complex regional security challenges.
