Rusiya MN Ukraynanın enerji obyektlərinə zərbələr endirildiyini açıqlayıb

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it conducted mass strikes against Ukraine's fuel and energy complex facilities overnight. The military department stated that the operation targeted infrastructure utilized by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, which cited the ministry, the operation employed high-precision ground- and air-based weaponry, as well as long-range strike drones. Russian officials characterized these actions as a retaliatory measure against what they described as terror attacks carried out by the Kyiv regime.

The strikes reportedly caused significant damage to specific facilities, including:

  • A fuel and lubricant storage facility located in the Borispol-2 settlement of the Kyiv region;
  • The Zaturino oil refinery in the Poltava region.

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which escalated into a full-scale war on February 24, 2022, has frequently involved reciprocal strikes on energy and military infrastructure. While the Russian leadership maintains that the operation is aimed at the "demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine, Western nations have responded to the invasion by imposing extensive economic sanctions on Moscow and providing military support to Kyiv.
