The Iranian Ministry of Defense has issued a stern warning to the United States, asserting that Tehran is prepared to deliver a "final response" to any perceived aggression.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that General Reza Talayiniq, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, stated that if Washington fails to meet Iran's demands regarding standing agreements, it will face significant challenges on the battlefield, according to IRNA.
General Talayiniq emphasized that any new threat, attack, or act of aggression by the American military will be met with an immediate and resolute counter-action intended to make Washington regret its decisions. He further claimed that the periodic withdrawal of US Navy vessels from conflict zones serves as evidence of the high combat readiness of both the Iranian regular army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to the spokesperson, the Iranian people will remain the winning side in any US-Iran confrontation.
Tensions between Tehran and Washington have remained high, particularly concerning maritime security and regional influence. This latest rhetoric follows a series of military maneuvers by Iran intended to demonstrate its defensive capabilities. Observers note that such statements are often directed at the administration of US President Donald Trump, who has maintained a policy of strategic deterrence in the region since taking office in January 2025.
