The Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of the Republic of Azerbaijan will now organize public hearings and discussions through the E-Government Information System, in accordance with the Law "On Public Participation."

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a law amending the "Internal Regulations of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan," the Law "On Public Participation," and the Law "On the Procedure for the Exercise of the Right of Legislative Initiative by Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan."

Under the new legislation, notifications regarding the dates and details of public hearings or discussions will be disseminated through the designated electronic information system, ensuring greater transparency and accessibility for citizens.

This legislative update represents a significant step in the ongoing digital transformation of Azerbaijan's state institutions. By integrating public parliamentary processes into the E-Government framework, the Milli Majlis aims to enhance civic engagement and streamline the legislative review process, aligning with the country's broader strategy to modernize public administration and improve digital governance standards.
