The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has officially congratulated the governments and peoples of Japan and Brunei Darussalam on the occasion of their respective National Days.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the MFA shared these congratulatory messages through its official account on the "X" social media platform.
"We sincerely congratulate the government and people of Japan on the occasion of Japan's National Day. Happy National Day to Japan!" the ministry stated in its message to Tokyo. In a separate post addressed to Bandar Seri Begawan, the ministry noted: "We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Brunei Darussalam on their National Day. Happy National Day to Brunei!"
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Japan have seen significant development since their establishment in 1992, particularly in the energy sector and infrastructure projects. Similarly, Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its bilateral ties and cooperation within international organizations, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), with Brunei Darussalam. These congratulatory messages underscore Baku's commitment to fostering friendly relations and mutual respect with its international partners.
