The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan has extended its congratulations to the Russian Federation on the occasion of Russia Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the official message was shared via the MFA's account on the social media platform X.
"We sincerely congratulate the government and the people of the Russian Federation on the occasion of Russia Day," the statement read.
Russia Day, celebrated annually on June 12, marks the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1990. Azerbaijan and Russia maintain a strategic partnership, characterized by active cooperation in political, economic, and cultural spheres. The two nations frequently exchange diplomatic greetings on significant national holidays, underscoring the ongoing dialogue and bilateral relations between Baku and Moscow.
