The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has extended its congratulations to the government and people of Colombia on the occasion of the country's Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the ministry shared an official congratulatory message on its social media platform "X" (formerly Twitter).
"We extend our sincere congratulations to the government and people of Colombia on the occasion of Independence Day," the statement read.
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Colombia were established in 1994. Since then, the two nations have sought to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including political dialogue, trade, and cultural exchange. Such messages of congratulation are standard diplomatic practice, reflecting the ongoing commitment to maintaining friendly international relations and fostering mutual respect between the two states.
