Baku Metro CJSC has fully restored train operations to the traditional weekday schedule, with the system now functioning at full capacity.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the CJSC that train movement across all lines is being organized in a stable manner. Trains have been deployed according to the densest possible schedule within existing technical capabilities to accommodate passenger flow. "Technical control over systems has been further strengthened, and the monitoring process continues without interruption. The measures taken serve to ensure the safe and sustainable implementation of passenger transportation," the statement said.
Baku Metro, which launched its first line in 1967, remains the backbone of public transportation in the capital of Azerbaijan. The network currently comprises three lines—the Red, Green, and Purple lines—with a total of 27 stations. The restoration of the standard schedule is part of ongoing efforts by the Baku Metro CJSC to maintain high service standards and manage the increasing demand for urban transit in the metropolitan area.
