Makron Yaxın Şərqdəki gərginliklə bağlı: "Bu, hər kəs üçün təhlükəlidir"

The rising tension in the Middle East poses a serious threat to international peace and must be stopped immediately.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that French President Emmanuel Macron shared these views on his official X social media account.

“The current escalation is dangerous for everyone. It must be stopped. France is ready to mobilize all necessary resources to protect its close partners if requested. Official Paris insists on convening an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council," the statement said.

The call for an emergency session comes amid a significant spike in regional hostilities, which has drawn widespread concern from the international community. France, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, has historically played a mediating role in Middle Eastern diplomacy, frequently advocating for de-escalation and the protection of sovereign borders.

The United Nations Security Council is the primary international body responsible for maintaining global peace and security. An emergency meeting would allow member states to deliberate on immediate ceasefire measures and diplomatic interventions to prevent the conflict from expanding into a broader regional war.
