The State Examination Center (SEC) has officially announced the final results of the entrance examination for master's degree programs at higher education institutions, which took place on May 17, 2026.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the SEC.

The center recalled that the results for the closed and open-ended tasks (95 questions) were initially released on May 20. The current announcement includes the final exam scores, which incorporate the results of essay tasks in foreign languages. Participants could achieve a maximum of 100 points, consisting of 95 points for closed and coded tasks and 5 points for the essay portion.

Bachelors can view their final exam scores here. Information regarding final results can also be obtained via mobile operators (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar) by sending the "job number" to 7727.

Bachelors whose exam results meet the competition requirements are eligible to proceed to the specialization selection phase. This process is regulated by the "Specialization Selection Table for Master's Level," which will be published in the upcoming issue of the "Magistr" journal.

To address inquiries regarding exam results, the SEC will organize an appeals process via telephone starting June 19, 2026. Candidates wishing to appeal must register by filling out an electronic application on the SEC website between 10:00 AM on June 17 and 5:00 PM on June 18. Failure to register within this timeframe will preclude candidates from submitting an appeal later.

Each appeal will be limited to a maximum of 15 minutes of discussion. The process will be terminated if the allotted time expires, if unauthorized individuals join the discussion, or if ethical conduct rules are violated. Only appeals concerning the content of tasks and written work will be considered. As answer cards are processed via optical scanners, requests regarding answers marked incorrectly due to non-compliance with instructions—such as shading two circles for a single closed-ended question—will not be reviewed.

The master's degree entrance examination is a critical milestone for students in Azerbaijan aiming to pursue advanced academic research and specialized professional training. These exams ensure a standardized assessment of academic readiness across the country's higher education system.
