Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva, has attended the performance of "Oil boom smiles on everyone" at the State Theatre of Young Spectators in Baku. The play is based on the work of People's Writer Maqsud Ibrahimbeyov.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the production was presented within the framework of a festival dedicated to the writer's creative heritage, organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The festival is scheduled to run from November 2025 to February 2026. Following the performance, Leyla Aliyeva met with the creative team and cast of the play.
The artistic team for the production includes stage director Konstantin Soldatov, production designer Chingiz Babayev, choreographer Nigar Ibrahimbeyli, and sound designers Konstantin Soldatov and Platon Soldatov. The cast featured Honored Artists Shovgi Huseynov, Elnur Huseynov, and Rasim Jafar, alongside actors Bahram Hasanov, Asya Atakishiyeva, Kerem Hadizade, Sabina Mammadzade, Nurlan Suleymanly, Manaf Dadashov, Shabnam Huseynova, Rashad Safarov, Jeyhun Mammadov, Natig Farzaliyev, Umman Budagov, Mirzaaga Mirzayev, Ramig Nasirov, Adalat Abdulsamad, Huseyn Bayramov, and Mehriban Huseynova.
The "Oil boom smiles on everyone" festival is a special project of the Maqsud Ibrahimbeyov Creativity Center. Maqsud Ibrahimbeyov was a prominent Azerbaijani writer, dramatist, and screenwriter whose works have been translated into numerous languages and staged internationally. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which supports such cultural initiatives, plays a pivotal role in preserving Azerbaijan's literary heritage and promoting the country's arts and culture both domestically and on the global stage.
