Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the commencement of large-scale operations following the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC issued a formal statement regarding the mobilization.

"The hand of vengeance of the Iranian nation will not release the perpetrators until the killers of Khamenei are punished in a severe, decisive, and regrettable manner," the statement read. The organization characterized the killing of the Supreme Leader as a flagrant violation of religious, moral, legal, and international norms. The Iranian government also released a statement confirming that the perpetrators would not go unpunished, adding that "with the support of the Islamic Ummah and the freedom-seekers of the world, we will make the executors and masterminds of this great crime regret their actions."

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is a multi-branch primary faction of the Iranian Armed Forces, established after the 1979 Islamic Revolution to protect the country's political system. The Supreme Leader of Iran serves as the highest-ranking political and religious authority in the nation, holding ultimate power over the armed forces, the judiciary, and state media. Such an event marks a significant shift in the regional geopolitical landscape, potentially impacting security dynamics across the Middle East and international diplomatic relations.
