The leadership and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan visited the Alley of Honor in Baku to commemorate the National Leader Heydar Aliyev on the occasion of the professional holiday of diplomatic service employees.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the delegation, led by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, laid a wreath and flowers at the grave of the National Leader, paying tribute to his memory with deep respect and reverence.
Following the tribute to Heydar Aliyev, the delegation visited the grave of the prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, where they also laid flowers in a gesture of respect.
The Alley of Honor serves as a significant memorial site in Azerbaijan, where the country's most prominent political, scientific, and cultural figures are laid to rest. The visit by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs staff is a traditional annual observance that underscores the diplomatic corps' commitment to the legacy of Heydar Aliyev, who laid the foundations of modern Azerbaijan's independent foreign policy and statehood.
