Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, has met with Kairat Sarybay, the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the Secretary General shared details of the meeting on his official X account. During the discussions, the sides focused on the comprehensive preparations for the upcoming CICA Summit and the CICA Media Forum. Kairat Sarybay expressed his high appreciation for Azerbaijan's strong leadership and active role within the organization.
The Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is a multi-national forum for enhancing cooperation toward promoting peace, security, and stability in Asia. Azerbaijan has consistently played a proactive role in the organization, advocating for regional connectivity and security dialogue. The upcoming Media Forum is expected to serve as a platform for strengthening communication ties among member states, reflecting Azerbaijan's growing influence as a diplomatic hub in the Eurasian region.
