Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a congratulatory letter to Nikol Pashinyan following his reappointment as Prime Minister of Armenia.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the press service of the Kazakh President reported that Tokayev emphasized the high level of trust placed in Pashinyan, describing it as a direct result of his ongoing efforts in state governance. The Kazakh leader characterized this appointment as a clear indication of public support for Pashinyan's political agenda, which is aimed at improving the welfare of Armenian citizens and strengthening the country's international standing.

Tokayev further highlighted Pashinyan's role as a statesman committed to developing the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Armenia. The Kazakh President expressed confidence that, through joint efforts, the multifaceted relations between the two nations will reach a higher level of cooperation. This diplomatic exchange follows the official appointment of Pashinyan, leader of the Civil Contract party, by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan on August 2, following the party's success in securing a parliamentary majority.
