Israel has inflicted significant damage on Iran's energy infrastructure and petrochemical industry during recent military operations. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this was stated by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.

The Defense Minister noted that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will continue to strike strategic infrastructure to weaken Iran's combat capabilities. Katz also officially confirmed the elimination of Majid Khademi, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence organization. "I authorized the operation in Tehran tonight: Majid Khademi, the head of the IRGC intelligence organization, one of those directly responsible for the start of this war and one of the three highest-ranking leaders of the organization, has been killed," he stated.

The targeted strike marks a significant escalation in the ongoing regional tensions between the two nations. The IRGC intelligence wing is considered a primary architect of Iran's external security operations and regional influence. This development follows a series of precision strikes aimed at degrading the logistical and economic foundations of the Iranian military apparatus, particularly its ability to fund and coordinate proxy activities across the Middle East.
