Azerbaijan is set to integrate artificial intelligence-based services to enhance the employment process for job seekers and unemployed individuals. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this initiative is outlined in the "Action Plan for the Implementation of the Employment Strategy for 2026–2030," which was approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

The primary objective of the initiative is to increase the accessibility and utilization of AI-driven tools, thereby optimizing the matching process between job seekers and available vacancies. Relevant authorities have been tasked with developing specific proposals to implement these technological solutions effectively.

Furthermore, the action plan includes the creation of an "Electronic Atlas of Professions" information system. This digital platform is designed to provide job seekers with comprehensive insights into the labor market, helping them improve their skills and expand their career opportunities in alignment with current economic demands. The implementation of this program has been assigned to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

This initiative reflects Azerbaijan's broader commitment to digital transformation and the modernization of public services. By leveraging advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, the government aims to reduce structural unemployment and create a more dynamic, data-driven labor market that better serves both employers and the workforce.
