The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted strikes on more than 85 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours, including an underground weapons storage facility.
According to reports from The Times of Israel, cited by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the military operations targeted weapons depots, rocket launchers, and infrastructure used by Hezbollah for planning attacks. The IDF stated that the strikes also neutralized group members who were preparing to launch assaults against Israeli military personnel stationed in southern Lebanon.
The escalation comes amid a period of heightened regional instability following months of cross-border skirmishes between Israeli forces and Hezbollah.
