The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted strategic strikes on key government facilities in Tehran, including the office of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the building of the Supreme National Security Council.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the military's press service, the operation targeted the heart of the Iranian leadership's administrative infrastructure. "During the strike on the complex, a large number of munitions were deployed against the buildings of the presidential administration and the Supreme National Security Council," the official statement from the Israel Defense Forces released today said.

Furthermore, the official document noted that the strikes hit the complex where high-level security decision-making meetings are held, as well as a training facility for Iranian officers and other critical infrastructure sites. "The mentioned complex is one of the most heavily guarded facilities in Iran and spans several blocks in central Tehran. The leadership and high-ranking security officials regularly held consultations there," the report emphasized.

This escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions and follows a series of reciprocal military actions. The targeting of high-level administrative centers in the capital represents a significant shift in the scope of the ongoing conflict. Historically, such facilities in Tehran have been considered the most secure zones within the Islamic Republic, housing the core of the country's political and military command structure.
