İranın raket proqramı "qırmızı xətt"dir – Əli Şamxanidən sərt bəyanat

Ali Shamkhani, the senior advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a firm statement regarding the country's military capabilities.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Shamkhani emphasized Tehran's missile program remains closed to international negotiations and will not be a subject of discussion.

According to Shamkhani, Iran's missile potential represents a strategic "red line" essential for national security. He firmly noted that this matter cannot be the subject of any diplomatic talks or concessions, reinforcing the state's uncompromising stance on its defense infrastructure.

This statement comes at a time of heightened military and political tensions in the region, as international powers continue to express concerns regarding Iran's military programs. While Western nations have frequently called for curbs on Tehran's ballistic capabilities, Iranian officials maintain that the program is purely defensive in nature and serves as a vital deterrent against external threats.

The missile program has long been a point of contention in Iran's relations with the West, particularly following the shifts in regional security dynamics. Iran possesses one of the largest missile arsenals in the Middle East, which it views as a necessary component of its sovereignty given the geopolitical instability and the presence of foreign military forces in neighboring territories.
