Forces from the United States and Israel have carried out strikes against Iran's steel production complexes located in the central and southwestern regions of the country.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Middle Eastern media outlets, the operations targeted critical industrial infrastructure. Preliminary assessments indicate that the production units of the Mobarakeh Steel Company, one of Iran's largest industrial enterprises situated in Isfahan province, sustained serious damage as a result of the massive attacks. Additionally, strikes were reported at the Sefid Dasht Steel and Khuzestan Steel facilities.

The targeting of these industrial hubs represents a significant escalation in the regional tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. The Mobarakeh Steel Company is a cornerstone of Iran's non-oil economy, providing essential materials for the country's automotive, construction, and engineering sectors. Such strikes on heavy industry are often viewed as strategic efforts to weaken the economic and logistical capabilities of the targeted nation, particularly given the dual-use nature of steel in both civilian infrastructure and defense manufacturing.
