Hassan Ghashghavi, spokesperson for the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament, has rejected claims by US President Donald Trump that Tehran is seeking to resume negotiations with Washington.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing international media reports, Ghashghavi stated that the US President's assertions regarding Iran's alleged request for talks do not reflect reality.
Ghashghavi argued that such statements from the US administration are primarily calculated to suppress oil prices and manipulate global energy markets. He further advised the US leadership to seek more effective diplomatic strategies to resolve the ongoing tensions between the two nations.
