A fire has broken out at the Port Abdullah oil refinery in Kuwait following a drone attack.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the incident was confirmed by the KUNA news agency. According to official reports, the blaze started in one of the refinery's production units after it was targeted by an Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

Authorities stated that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the employees and the security of the facility.
