President Ilham Aliyev has shared a post on his official social media accounts on the occasion of February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the post by the head of state emphasized the importance of the youth in the country's development, stating: "We can rightfully be proud of our young generation!"
Azerbaijan Youth Day was established in 1997 by the decree of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Since then, February 2 has been celebrated annually to recognize the role of the younger generation in the social, political, and economic life of Azerbaijan. The state youth policy remains a priority for the government, focusing on education, patriotic upbringing, and the active participation of young people in the nation's progress and the restoration of liberated territories.
