President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Heroes Memorial in Tbilisi on April 6 as part of their official visit to Georgia.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the President of Azerbaijan at the memorial square. The head of state laid a wreath at the memorial, paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and independence of Georgia. Following the wreath-laying ceremony, the national anthems of both Azerbaijan and Georgia were performed by a military orchestra.
The Heroes Memorial, located in the center of the Georgian capital, serves as a significant site for official state ceremonies and international visits.
