"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department at the Presidential Administration, made the remarks while addressing the Honey Festival held in Kalbajar.
Hajiyev said that even larger projects would be carried out in Kalbajar as a result of President Ilham Aliyev’s policy:
“I congratulate all Kalbajar residents on this occasion. I once again express my deep gratitude to you for welcoming us with hospitality and for always receiving diplomats from various countries of the world with the hospitality worthy of the people of Kalbajar. We will come again. But from now on, we will come here only for weddings and other celebrations,” Hajiyev emphasized.
Kalbajar is among Azerbaijan’s territories liberated from occupation, where extensive reconstruction, infrastructure development and resettlement projects are under way. The revival of cultural and community traditions, including local festivals, is part of efforts to restore social and economic life in the region.
