At least 21 people have been killed in Iran's Hamadan province since the commencement of military strikes conducted by the United States and Israel.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that TASS news agency released these figures, citing information provided by the Tasnim news agency.
According to local authorities, five residents of the provincial administrative center are among the deceased, while at least 25 others have sustained various injuries during the operations. The strikes target strategic locations within the region, leading to a significant mobilization of local emergency services.
Hamadan province, located in the mid-western part of Iran, holds strategic importance due to its industrial infrastructure and proximity to key transport corridors. Military tensions in the region have escalated recently following shifts in geopolitical dynamics, including the inauguration of US President Donald Trump in January 2025, whose administration has maintained a firm stance regarding regional security and military engagements in the Middle East.
