According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this statement was made by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. He emphasized that the Georgian government's primary objective is to achieve a reset in relations with the United States.
"This involves restoring equal relations based on the principle of justice, taking into account the interests of both parties in all areas," the Georgian Prime Minister noted.
Kobakhidze stated that Georgia is currently engaged in active political dialogue with US representatives. He added that the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on developing a new bilateral agenda to strengthen ties.
Georgia's foreign policy has historically focused on deepening integration with Western institutions, including the European Union and NATO. The current efforts to recalibrate relations with the United States reflect Tbilisi's ongoing strategy to balance its regional security interests while maintaining its commitment to Euro-Atlantic cooperation.
