Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart, Yermek Kosherbayev. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the discussion centered on the current agenda of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as the status and future prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
During the call, the ministers emphasized the importance of successful cooperation and mutual support within international and regional organizations. They underscored the necessity of continuing coordinated activities across various multilateral platforms. Furthermore, the officials exchanged views on initiatives and measures being implemented under Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed satisfaction with Kazakhstan's high-level representation at the "Turkic World Week," held in honor of the 100th anniversary of the First Turkology Congress in Azerbaijan. He highlighted that such participation is significant for promoting shared history, culture, and spiritual heritage, as well as for further strengthening solidarity within the Turkic world. The conversation also included an exchange of views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
