Military exercises dubbed "Eagle Partner-2026" have commenced in Armenia, featuring the participation of military personnel from the United States, France, and Greece.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Interfax, the drills involve 250 soldiers from the Armenian Armed Forces' peacekeeping brigade. Additionally, the exercises include 58 personnel from the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa, including the Kansas National Guard, 24 soldiers from the French Armed Forces, and 11 from the Greek military.

The stated objective of the maneuvers is to enhance interoperability and coordination among units participating in international peacekeeping operations. The training program focuses on preparation for peacekeeping missions and the execution of related operational activities.

The "Eagle Partner" series of exercises has become a recurring element in Armenia's military cooperation with Western partners. The inaugural drills between Armenia and the United States were held in September 2023, with the most recent iteration taking place in August 2025. These exercises are part of broader efforts by Yerevan to diversify its security partnerships and align its military training standards with international peacekeeping frameworks.
